Octopode Pandemonium is an awesome pattern. I've made a few minor changes: when I make the stripey octopodes, I join my rounds so there's no jagged edges, and I join my legs to the bottom by sc them in to the last row. But that's really the only change I've made, though I am working on a series of character octopodes, which will use this same base, but have accessories. Hopefully that will be done soon... just like the nine million other projects I have to do!
Though I've mad a lot of octopodes over the years, one has a special place in my heart, even though he's in Australia now. His name was Stephen the Stephalopod, and shortly before he was to depart, he went on walkabout in my house. Every day I'd come home to find him in some exotic new location.
Stephan almost not making it back from a trip to Sweden:
Stephan visits the lemur who reside in out Facus (fake ficus):
Stephan taking a dip and meeting the local fishes:
Stephan trying his hand... er, tentacles at martial arts:
Stephan attempting to blend in with the locals at Halloween:
Stephan attempting to... I'm not sure if he was hiding, or just trying to get a good look around:
And... announcing accessorized 'podes! Well, one. And it's more of a character-pode. But the others I have in mind are more accessorized, so soon the name will fit. Soon...
