I love to cook - more specifically, I love to bake. I've never met a cookie I didn't like, and I've made some weird cookies. Cookies made with tomato soup, cookies that have sauerkraut in them, cookies with bacon... you dream it up, I'll try it.

A number of my recipes I get from Joanne Fluke's series of books, which, while I would not recommend them for the storylines, contain very, very, very good recipes. (The cookie to the right is from one of her books, it's an Orange Julius Cookie and they are to die for.) I thought I heard somewhere she was publishing a cookbook, and I'd snap that up in a heartbeat. She's the one who really started my fascination with weird cookies, though I've been eating 'weird' things all my life (I still maintain there is absolutely nothing weird about potato chips and ice cream, though. I may admit some of the stuff I eat is odd, but that is just awesome).

Someday I would like to have an on-line repository of all of my recipes, but that will have to wait until I have quite a bit of spare time. I'm just getting to the point where I have most of my recipes on 3x5 cards (which I laminate because I am a messy cook!), it'll be awhile until I'm ready to tackle another recipe-related project.

So below I have listed some of my favorite experiments/disasters. Enjoy, and happy eating!
